Cone work:

Stand close to the ‘cone’. Have your dog on your left or right side (parallel to you). You your leg (toe to line) to cue your dog to move forward and turn around the cone. Make sure you’re using the dog-side leg. Reward with your opposite (non-dog side) hand. Throw your reward ahead of the dog to encourage speed out of the turn. Gradually build distance from your cone (or what ever you’re using as a post) to build obstacle commitment.
